Dear Ladies, Get the woolly hats and thermals out, it’s time for Winter League and Christmas Fayre. Thanks to Lyn for organising six strong teams named after successful female golfers to inspire and encourage our weekly endeavours. Thanks also to Team Captains for accepting the role. Your team and all the information you require is posted in Ladies’ locker room. Please, pay entry fee (if not already paid) as soon as possible. I wish you good luck and plenty of fun in the pursuit of success. Presentation night, Friday 2nd December, supper, followed by Disco . Ladies Branch has recently acquired a number of copies of “Little Pink Golf Book” (A women’s survival guide to golf!), written by a fully qualified PGA Golf Professional, Abbey Gittings, cost £10, (Amazon price £ 12 .99). I would recommend it for members relatively new to Golf and at other stages of golfing career. I’ve read it and found it useful and enjoyable. Books can be obtained from Committee members. Presentation to Parkinsons NI will take place in November. Heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the grand sum of £3,220. Looking forward, as always, Ladies to seeing you on and off the course. Lady Captain Marian. |

Dear ladies, We want to encourage as many as possible to keep their golf swing going over the winter!! This is the last call for all those who want to play in the winter league. To be included in the draw for teams we ask that your £15 is placed in an envelope marked with your name in the money box by 10am on Monday 17th October. This money allows you to play as often as you like in the winter league. If you do not wish to play in the winter league you may play in the Christmas Fayre only. This is £2 each time you play and you must sign into the book in the locker room if you wish to play and place your money in an envelope. If you want your score to be included in both please sign the book and pay £2 before going out. On return copy your card labelling one with Christmas Fayre and the other with your team name. I know established members know all the routines but I hope this is clear for new members. Hopefully the rain will stay away for a few weeks. Louise |
